    Description
    We are currently hiring a Tooling Engineer for a growing aerospace manufacturing company in the Greater Seattle area.

    Annual Salary Range:
    $90k - $130k


    As a Tooling Engineer, you will enhance existing designs and develop new ones, prepare blueprints for mechanical parts, and provide technical support to customers.

    As a Tooling Design Engineer, your job duties will include:
    Meeting with clients and design teams to determine mechanical applications and requirements.
    Conducting research to inform the design and engineering methods required.
    Planning and executing designs using SolidWorks.
    Developing blueprints for new tooling designs as per customer or project specifications.
    Sharing designs with colleagues and implementing any relevant feedback in the new designs.
    Developing prototypes and testing new designs.
    Carrying out quality assurance tests on new designs.
    Documenting the design process, iterations, and test analytics.
    Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets.
    Preparing technical reports, design specifications documents, and operational manuals.
    Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, design trends, and engineering best practices.


    Preferred education and experience:
    Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, similar field of study, or equivalent experience
    5+ years' experience designing tooling
    Work experience in aerospace, space, or defense.
