    Description

    CornerStone Staffing has partnered with a customer that is a Major Hospital in the Fort Worth area hiring Patient Access Specialist. If you have 2+ years of front office experience in a hospital along with stable work history then we want to talk to you

    Job Title: Patient Access Specialist

    Location: Fort Worth, TX

    Pay: $17 - $20/hr BOE

    Schedule: Monday Friday 8:30am 5:00pm

    Job Description:

    Responsible for professionally answering incoming calls, collecting co-pays and deposits, schedule healthcare appointments, answer questions, and order additional test for patients when directed.

    Requirements:

    • Experience with patient registration procedures
    • Knowledge of insurance claims
    • Must have a stable work history - no job hoppers
    • Healthcare experience is preferred
    • Excellent and written communication skills resulting in positive communication
    • Extreme attention to detail and the ability to prioritize activities
    • Ability to work collaborat ively with others
    • High school diploma or GED required
