- At least 7 years of experience with cloud network technologies, with an emphasis on IPv6 networking2. Strong knowledge of IPv6 addressing, routing, and subnetting3. Familiarity with NAT64 and DNS64 translation services4. Hands-on experience managing dual-stack networks5. In-depth understanding of network security principles and practices6. Intermediate knowledge of at least one Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tool such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc7. AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification OR Azure Networking Engineer certification
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IPv6 strategy for a multi-cloud environment, including migration plans and IPv6 adoption roadmaps2. Implement advanced security measures for IPv6 networks, including firewall policies, intrusion detection systems, and DDoS management3. Collaborate with other IT teams and departments to ensure seamless integration of IPv6 networking solutions4. Management and administration of cloud networking components including but not limited to VPCs, subnets, Load Balancers, and Security Groups5. Provide technical guidance to Cloud team members and Modal partners of implementation of IPv6 networking in cloud environments

Eliassen Group is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Networking Engineer to join our large government integrator's team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud networking technologies, with emphasis on IPv6 networking, network design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain our client's IPv6 cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
You will also work with the cloud team in the management and administration of cloud networking components. This position will be hybrid 2 days a week in Washington D.C. It will also require the candidate to get a security clearance which can take up to 5-12 weeks to obtain (must have lived in the U.X. for at least 3 years).Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience or Certifications:
