ProCare Therapy is searching for a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for Special School District of St. Louis CountynearMaryland Heights, MOfor the school year. Job Details:

Position: Special Education Teacher
Location: Maryland Heights, MO
Hours:35+ hours per week

Qualifications:

Experience in the following preferred:
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education
Missouri SPED Teaching Certification
Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
Familiar with IEP's and EDP's

Responsibilities:

10-12 students max on caseload.
Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.
