    Job Description Summary:


    We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. You will conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design. Data analysts will develop analysis and reporting capabilities. They will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:


    - **Data Collection and Analysis**: Collect data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
    - **Reporting**: Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
    - **Problem-Solving**: Work with management to prioritize business and information needs. Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
    - **Collaboration**: Work closely with business to identify issues and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
    - **Presentation**: Present data and insights to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
    - **Data Integrity and Security**: Ensure the accuracy and security of data.

    Skills and Qualifications:


    - **Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or related field.
    - **Experience**: Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
    - **Technical Skills**: Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (SQL etc.), programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
    - **Analytical Skills**: Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.).
    - **Attention to Detail**: Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
    - **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

    Work Environment:


    This position typically operates in an office setting and may require occasional travel to other offices or training locations. The role may also involve working with sensitive or confidential information, necessitating a high level of discretion and integrity.
