    MUST:

    Experienced Data Analyst

    • 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst
    4+ years Python Scripting
    4+ years Power BI
    4+ years UAT Testing
    4+ years Complex SQL Querying
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, Business Administration or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.


    DUTIES

    Analyzing and deriving insights from data to support a leading science-based, data-driven, service organization that protects the public's health.

    Responsible for conducting data discovery, documentation, and analysis to support business decision-making.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
    Conduct data discovery to identify relevant datasets and sources for analysis.
    Document data sources, definitions, and lineage to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
    Analyze data using SQL queries and other analytical tools to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
    Visualize data using tools such as Power BI to communicate findings to stakeholders.
    Collaborate with data engineers to validate and test data pipelines for accuracy and reliability.
    Provide ad-hoc analysis and support to business stakeholders as needed.
    Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization techniques.

    Collaborate with product management teams to define product roadmaps and prioritize features based on data insights and business needs.

    Document user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria for data-related features and enhancements.

    Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) for data-related features, ensuring that requirements are met and feedback is incorporated into the development process.

    Act as a bridge between the business and development teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and vice versa.

    Work closely with software developers to ensure that data-related features are implemented according to specifications and meet business objectives.

    Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews, representing the data perspective.
    Conduct data-driven analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of product features and initiatives, providing insights to inform decision-making.

    Assist in training and supporting end users on data-related tools and platforms, ensuring adoption and proficiency across the organization.
