    Description
    OverviewMalouf Companies seeks a motivated, focused custodian to join our building maintenance team.

    Our ideal candidate will have experience using basic cleaning supplies to maintain a clean work environment and both take direction on company cleaning procedures and handle the details of the work on their own initiative.

    This is a full-time, benefitted role. Schedule is Mon-Fri 7:00 am - 3:30 pm but is subject to change depending on business needs.

    ResponsibilitiesHave basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and tools used to clean the company's office spacesMaintain clean and sanitary restrooms and facilitiesFollow health and safety guidelines while cleaningClean office spaces, bathrooms, stairwells, break rooms, restrooms, and other spaces in a timely mannerUtilize multiple cleaning methods, including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and spot-cleaning glass and windowsEmpty trash and recycling bins in office, break room, restroom, and other areasRestock restrooms and break rooms with suppliesQualificationsExperience performing commercial cleaning services is preferred but not requiredAbility to perform general cleaning duties such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

    Ability to operate equipment safely and efficientlyAbility to understand and follow verbal, written, or demonstrated instructionAbility to continuously walk, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 poundsSelf-motivated with high attention to detailMust be willing to work evenings and weekendsComfortable working both independently and in a team environmentMust be a U.S.
