JOB OPPORTUNITY

JOB TITLE: Custodian, part-time

SITE LOCATION OF POSITION: Maintenance Operations and Transportation

TERMS/HOURS OF POSITION: 4.0 hours per day, 12 months per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Clean restrooms and related facilities; perform normal daily routine including dusting; washing counters, windows, and woodwork; moving furniture and equipment; lifting. Other duties as assigned by Custodian Supervisor or Facilities and Transportation Director.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduation or equivalent, pre-placement medical assessment to determine physical fitness, and a valid California driver license.

SALARY RANGE AND AMOUNT: Range 16, Step 1 - $18.88 per hour (in addition to $0.25-night differential and $0.32 in lieu of benefits)

SCREENING PROCEDURES: Review of employment applications, references, and personal interviews.

OTHER COMMENTS: Applicant selected will be required to successfully complete a pre-placement medical assessment, TB clearance, and fingerprint clearance before being hired as a probationary employee.
