    Description

    Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager

    Location: Kokomo Indiana, United States

    Job Type: Direct Hire/Full-time

    We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join our team. As the EHS Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the company's environmental health and safety programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential health and safety hazards in the workplace.
    • Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees to increase awareness and promote a culture of safety.
    • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Maintain and update all relevant EHS documentation, including policies, procedures, and training materials.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote environmental sustainability initiatives within the organization.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all EHS-related inquiries from employees, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders
    • Stay informed about emerging EHS trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve the company's EHS programs.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in environmental health and safety management.
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant EHS standards
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
    • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred.
