Job Overview:
We are seeking an energetic Safety Technician to join our team.
As a Safety Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and implementing effective safety measures to protect employees and the workplace.
Your role will involve conducting risk assessments audits and promoting a safe work environment.Duties:
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Implement safety programs, policies, and procedures
- Provide training to employees on safety protocols, procedures.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving safety performance
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of relevant safety regulations and industry best practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and initiatives
- Assist in the development of emergency response plans and conduct drills as needed
- Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks to promote awareness and engagement
Experience:
- Proven Experience in construction or industrial setting
- Knowledge of construction safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively train employees on safety procedures
- Ability to conduct thorough investigations and analyze data to identify trends or areas for improvement
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and requirements

This is a 1099 position
