Description
ResponsibilitiesBASIC PURPOSE: Work with Global Partners including port agents and other service providers in Port to maximize the value of the company by controlling its costs and keeping a consistently high level of service in all destinations.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform competitive analysis and ensure MXP (Marine Exchange software) forecasts are submitted by Port Agents and other Vendors in a timely manner.
Ensure that submissions are in compliance with corporate finance and port cost requirements.Assist Director, Port services in preparing annual budgets.
Assist Port and Destination Finance Team in reconciling variances between forecasts and actual invoices.
Assist in analyzing financial impact of agreements made by NCLH Port Services with Port Authorities, Terminal Operators and other vendors.
Work with Port Agents and Vendors in order to identify areas for potential cost savings.
Work with Port and Destination Finance and AP in order to ensure prepayments are requested and made on time.
Manage & maintain contact information in MXP and Microsoft Outlook.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Bachelor's degree in another field with at least 2 years of experience in Finance.
EXPERIENCE:
One year of experience in business analysis is required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Must be detail-oriented and organized with strong work ethic. Should be able to multitask and work under constant pressure of deadlines. Working knowledge of Excel to calculate advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and VLookups. Excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively interface with all levels of personnel throughout the organization and with external agents. Understanding of Port Operations & Port Charges is not required, but preferred.
