The Academic Teaching Hospital has approximately 500 beds. The Department of Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery is certified as a center for endoprosthetics and trauma.

The clinic's main focuses are trauma surgery, spinal surgery, open and arthroscopic joint surgery, as well as endoprosthetics including revision endoprosthetics.
