    • Student Belonging and WellbeingOnsite FlexThe Student Belonging and Wellbeing Division within Student Affairs is searching for a full time, Administrative Assistant to join our student centered, collaborative, and dynamic leadership team.
    This position is supervised by and a mission-critical partner of the Executive Dean of Student Belonging and Wellbeing with a typical work schedule of Monday
    • Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm (start and end times are flexible), from the Cascade Campus with minimum onsite work of four (4) days per week.
    This position is essential to our division-wide engagement and success. Below is a general job overview, job duties, minimum qualifications, and success criteria for this position.


    Job Overview:
    The Administrative Assistant provides a full range of complex administrative functions for senior management supporting district operations.
    The Administrative Assistant performs their work independently, exercises considerable judgment, and responds to complex, technical and sensitive issues.
    The Administrative Assistant has frequent Interactions with a variety of individuals within PCC, the general public and outside customers.

    Experience and high level competence in the use of technology/varied apps/presentations, especially with technology across the Google platform, but also including (but not limited to) Microsoft Office, Banner, Argos, project management platforms, etc.

    Additionally, the candidate should be willing to learn and become adept at new technologies as they emerge or as needed.

    Advanced organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
    Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing reports, communication, and documents, contracts, etc.
    Ability to problem solve independently and effectively.
    Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education.

    A commitment to relationship building, taking a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach, including fluency in languages other than English, and staying patient, empathetic, and compassionately professional while working with our students, staff, and faculty is critical to success in this role.

    An interest and willingness to support the success of others and to train and guide others on PCC and division operations and processes is key to the needs of our Division.

    Minimum QualificationsTo be considered, your application must demonstrate these minimum qualifications.

    High school diploma or GEDFive years of responsible administrative support experience (Note:
    College or business school training may be substituted for up to two years of the experience requirement)Other combinations of experience, education and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities will be considered.

    $53,870 and $55,484 per year.
    Higher salary placement may be available based on qualifications, experience and internal equity.

    Includes Health, Dental, and Vision options, Group Life, Long-term Disability, Long-term Care, and Auto and Home Insurance programs.

    PCC currently fully funds the Oregon Public Employees Retirement System (PERS/OPSRP) pension and contributes an additional 6% into the employee's Individual Account Program under PERS/OPSRP.

    PCC offers a tax deferred annuity program and a deferred compensation program where employees may save additional pre-tax dollars for retirement.

    Additionally, PCC provides a tuition waiver for yourself, domestic partner, and dependent children under 24 years of age. Partial tuition reimbursement for yourself at other accredited institutions (full-time employees only).


    Paid Leave:

    Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsIncumbents typically work in an office setting but may be assigned other duties such as transporting office supplies and equipment.

    Duties typically involve managing multiple priorities, handling interruptions, deadlines and other work pressures. Some positions may involve limited local travel.
