- Assist with benefits administration tasks such as benefit eligibility mailings, COBRA administration, Medical Support Notices, HIPP Program, etc.
- Support department with projects, implementations and other needs as directed including annual open enrollment period.
- Acts as level one resolution for department calls, faxes, mail, and email, including monitoring shared email boxes and responding to emails associated with benefits administration within one business day.
- Monitor trends of repeat questions to identify if training or communications can reduce the frequency and volume of team member questions.
- Intake, document and respond to team member inquiries submitted via phone, voicemail, email, or mail regarding benefit inquiries via the shared service call log that enables accurate and timely reporting of problems.
- Provide recommendations or suggest methods to update, simplify, and enhance processes and procedures.
- Assist in creating knowledge base articles, e-learning, policy updates and training solutions based on high call volume topics.
- Performs the full cycle arrears billing process including accurately applying payments made to TPA within the designated deadlines and ensuring accuracy with file transfers. Accurately prepares funding reports from TPA for Treasury.
- Prepares internal notices for team members and managers outlining applicable due dates, and responsibilities of the team member and manager.
- Works with the TPA to ensure accuracy, and troubleshoots issues as needed. Updates notices/letters as needed with the TPA.

Description
The Benefits Coordinator is a critical member of the Total Rewards team. Reporting directly to the Manager, Benefits, this role will support a variety of processes within the Total Rewards pillar including benefits administration and arrears processing across the entire enterprise of Eat'n Park Hospitality Group. They address routine questions, document, and escalate those falling into a more complex nature, and identify common themes of concerns that may require long-term solutions such as communication, training, or policy changes.
Job Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration - 70%
Assists team members with benefits enrollment, qualifying events, and general benefit inquiries. Ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in HRIS system.
High School diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 1 year experience in a Human Resources support or administrative role.
Experience with an HRIS system such as UKG is strongly preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm during moments of conflict and to support, with empathy, a person in need; strong ability to apply standard tools and response, but also to judge when an issue must be escalated or handled with additional care
Must be proficient in Word and Outlook with basic Excel skills. Must be comfortable continuing to grow their technology skills and able to research, compile and clearly present information and data.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
Demonstrated experience and proficiency in effective written and verbal communication.
Highly organized, able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
