- Operate/maintain optical systems, high speed digital cameras, IR cameras, Video Systems and various other equipment for the Electro-Optical Tracking Systems (EOTS) Team
- Basic Electrical/Electronic theory, practice and repair/service experience preferred
- Basic skills in Optics/photography preferred
- Knowledge of software applications highly desired
- Applicant must be a self-starter and be able to use initiative to undertake activities with minimal supervision
- Position will require some overtime and occasional travel
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Selected candidate must participate in the State of Maryland-approved RT&T Apprenticeship Program and complete the required curriculum
- Minimum part-time enrollment in an Engineering/Electronics Technician AA/AS degree or related curriculum from an accredited college or university

is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the worlds premier systems.

Background Information:
This full-time, entry-level position serves as an onsite Engineering Aide/Laborer supporting the Optical Systems Branch within the Range Instrumentation Divisions (RID) at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) in Patuxent River, MD.
The team utilizes Electro-Optical Tracking Systems (EOTS) to obtain Time, Space, Position Information (TSPI) data and documentary imaging data on manned and unmanned aircraft, weapon, and ship system testing.
