    Social Media Internship (Summer)

    We are looking for a Summer Intern to join our team at The Social Agency. We are a social media agency that creates organic content for luxury product-based brands in the beauty and lifestyle industry. The role is in-person 2 days a week at our office space in Jersey City (approx. 10 minutes by the Path from Christopher St. or WTC)

    We are looking for a new team member who can work alongside our Founder and Social Media Coordinator during the internship. This position is ideal for a candidate with prior social media experience who wants to get more hands-on experience with content creation. If you enjoy consuming social media and love being in front and behind the camera, this position is for you

    Please note that you must be comfortable modeling women's products (jewelry, makeup, etc.) in photos and videos for clients.

    You will be:

    • Recording and editing TikToks (you will be in them too)
    • Creating engaging Instagram captions for our clients
    • Creating graphics for Instagram
    • Planning out Instagram feeds
    • Scheduling content on Instagram and TikTok
    • Doing engagement on behalf of clients on Instagram and TikTok
    • Researching TikTok trends
    • Planning out photo and video shoots
    • Assisting our Founder and Social Media Manager as needed

    What we offer:

    • 2 days per week (6 hours each) from May – August
    • Monthly stipend
    • Office space in Jersey City, right next to Grove St. Path Station

    The ideal candidate is:

    • A rising Junior or Senior in College or a Graduate Student
    • Very familiar with recording and editing TikTok videos and feels comfortable being on camera
    • Has a hands-on experience managing social media for e-commerce brands or as an influencer
    • Is persuing a relevant degree in marketing, communications, PR, etc.
    • Has experience with Canva
    • Has a strong visual aesthetic that aligns with ours
