SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Development Manager is a key member of the Human Resources Division Leadership Team, overseeing Training and Development Systems and setting strategic directions for training procedures. The role involves managing Specialists, annual business planning, and departmental budget management.

Develops and manages a strategic vision for the Human Resources Development Team, eliminating non-value added processes
Writes annual (MBO) goals, develops action plans, and holds Team Members accountable for results
Manages web-based Learning Management Systems and recommends system improvements
Administers and enhances MAL Performance Management System
Establishes strategic direction for Team Member training, aligning it with business objectives
Participates in business planning, budgeting, and organizational management
Manages departmental budget, evaluates spending, and ensures compliance with budget constraints
Collaborates with HR Division Managers to achieve annual goals

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes, supervises Recruiting and Training and Development Specialists

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Education & Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
• Three (3) or more years of supervisory experience
• Three (3) or more years of experience in managing recruiting and hiring systems

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
• Ability to manage training processes
• Interpret and apply current employment law principles
• Develop, implement, and manage strategic plans
• Establish performance expectations and motivate Team Members for business success
• Goal-oriented, customer-focused, with excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
• SHRM or HRCI Professional Certification
• Experience with Human Resources Information Systems, SAP preferred
• Departmental budgeting and Succession Planning Systems experience
• Previous HR experience in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment

Working Conditions: Office setting with some walking between buildings
