Position: Technical Systems Specialist

Location: District of Columbia - 4 Days Onsite, 1 WFH

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic IT Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the IT Director in developing and executing IT strategies that align with the organization's goals.
Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and professional development.
Project Management: Oversee and manage IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
Technology Infrastructure Oversight: Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure, including network systems, hardware, and software.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors and collaborate with various stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
Budget Management: Manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and expenditure.
Policy Development and Compliance: Implement IT policies and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in IT management or a related leadership role.
Proven track record of managing IT infrastructure and leading IT projects.
Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
Knowledge of current IT trends, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to strategize, plan, and implement IT initiatives in alignment with business objectives.
