Job DescriptionSummary:
The primary purpose of this position is to provide leadership in thr growth of the Lower Extremity portfolio.
Responsible for delivering top and bottom line metrics through innovative portfolio management.
This individual is responsible for leading the execution of cross-functional efforts to increase speed to market and keep up with market needs.
Oversees the strategy and concepts behind the development of new brands or product platforms from ideation through launch.Contributes analytic and strategic expertise to the development of future business growth to collaboratively build sound commercial assessments of potential new assets for the organization.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesLeads portfolio management to maximize revenue and profitability.
Works with Supply Chain to inform product obsolescence planning vis a vis product portfolio
Builds commercial business cases to evaluate new Brands and products.
Collaborates to determine marketing strategy and develop new opportunities based on customer needs and working with other functional areas.
Collaborates with marketing, R&D and business development to assess commercial market opportunity of new products under consideration for development or acquisition
Leads cross-functionally and with external customer teams to build Pillar Claims, and a value proposition for products under consideration.
Gathers and tests Insights to inform commercial assessment and messaging opportunities via MEX process
Interfaces cross-functionally with Business Development, Research & Development, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to inform the appropriate level of expectation and investment.
Interacts effectively with, Marketing, R&D, Clinical Affairs, Supply Chain, Business Development and Managed Care in strategic long-term planning.Utilizes market research to properly inform strategy for product commercialization.
