    Clinical Nurse Manager - Health Centers - Full-Time
    Company: Erlanger Health Centers


    • Job Summary:
      • Strengthens and enhances operational performance goals and outcomes through alignment of nursing care across the Erlanger Health Centers
      • Identifies opportunities for appropriate standardization and directs the delivery of nursing care, treatment, and services
      • Promotes adoption of evidence-based clinical guidelines and consistent standards to reduce variation in practice for achieving patient care quality goals
      • Establishes guidelines for the delivery of nursing care, treatment, or services
      • Provides guidance to ensure compliant nursing structures, staffing, and processes for accreditation, certification, and licensure
      • Provides leadership and direction for strategies in nursing recruitment, retention, and recognition of excellence
      • Mentors and coaches nurses for professional growth and accountability
      • Collaborates with stakeholders to meet performance goals in key result areas
      • Acts as a clinical representative for relevant organizations and committees
      • Collaborates with schools of nursing for recruitment pipelines
      • Oversees readiness of quality management and regulatory requirements for the Community Health Centers
      • Provides continuous quality education updates to stakeholders

    • Education:

      Required:
      Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing or nurse training/accrediting program. Must obtain RN licensure within 12 months of employment

      Preferred:
      BSN or Equivalent of nursing leadership experience

      MS Experience:

      Required:
      3 years' experience in hospital or equivalent nursing leadership environment

      Preferred:
      Experience in Quality Management and regulatory agencies

      License/Certification/Registration

      Required:
      Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Tennessee, BLS certification

      Preferred:
      Tennessee licensure or multistate licensure from a compact state

      Department Position Summary:
      • Leads Nursing Clinical Excellence initiatives
      • Works with various departments for quality improvement and compliance
      • Participates in multidisciplinary teams
      • Assists in nursing budget evaluation and reduction of expenses
      • Conducts organization-wide clinical performance improvement activities
      • Participates in retention and recruitment activities for nursing
      • Represents nursing in stakeholder meetings
      • Supports achievement of system goals and mission vision
      • Demonstrates commitment to ethical behavior and safety
