    Occupational Therapist needed for 13 weeks in a hospital in Oklahoma City, OK.

    General Description:


    • Under general supervision, performs professional Occupational Therapy activities consisting of planning, evaluating, establishing and implementing individual and group treatment activities under the direction of a physician.
    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Inability to perform these responsibilities with or without an accommodation may result in disqualification from the position.
    • Interpret a physician's referral and select an appropriate standardized evaluation procedure.
    • Evaluate patient in the following areas: independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play leisure abilities, social skills and various psychosocial skills.
    • Interpret the data and develop a treatment plan involving short and long term goals, frequency and duration of treatment.
    • Assist patient in carrying out these procedures through the design and fabrication of adaptive equipment and orthotic devices, joint protection and body mechanics.
    • Inform patient and family goals and progress.
    • Assist with discharge planning by ordering equipment and instructing patient on home therapy plan.
    • May supervise students.
