- Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determines material requirements from production schedules.
- Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production, and engineering.
- Ensures non-conformances or variances are approved and/ or minimized.
- Track shortages and run shortage meetings with procurement team.
- Highlight to management critical part shortages that will jeopardize ship schedule.
- Responsible for maintaining bill of materials, ensuring bill of material supports efficient material flow and is aligned with assembly process.
- Planner must understand manufacturing capacity and allocate as required to meet build plan commitments.
- 2 years + related experience
- BS degree required.
- Must be proficient on ERP system; preferable SAP.
