    Under the direction and leadership of the Controller, we are looking to fill an Accounting Supervisor to be an integral part of the Accounting team.

    BEING AN ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST AT SMB GIVES YOU THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

    • Responsible for completing the Accounts Payable functions of the department (including, but not limited to, proper establishment of new vendors, processing, monitoring, and distributing payment invoices) to ensure SMB finances are accurately accounted for.
    • Responsible for providing primary back up for wire verification coverage of domestic and international wires.
    • Responsible to accurately enter/posting of daily manual/automated general ledge accountings entries into the GL system. Serve as an effective back-up to perform the basic functions for other department positions as needed to include but not limited to: Endorsement and signing authority, daily reconciliations, and input journal entries.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Two-year college degree with preferred major in a financial discipline such as accounting, finance or equivalent work experience required.
    • Ability to perform touch entry skills on numeric keypads efficiently and accurately.
    • Good written and verbal communications skills.
    • Detail oriented and the ability to work under pressure independently and as a team member.
    • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
