Summary:
The Department of Surgery at WMCHealth is seeking an experienced clinical and academic surgeon to serve as the WMC Northern Region Wound Care Medical for MidHudson Regional Hospital and Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, NY.
Qualifications / Requirements:
The successful candidate will be board certified in General Surgery or Plastic Surgery with special interest and experience in integrated and multidisciplinary management of wound care.
The Wound Care Section encompasses a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare in and academic and community hospital setting.
The Wound Care team consists of doctors, nurses, and other supportive services who work together to provide the best possible care in a state-of-the-art wound care centers, which includes participation of vascular, general, plastic, orthopedic, and podiatry surgeons.
The candidate will have an academic appointment with the New York Medical College, commensurate with qualifications.Facility Info:
MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY, is home to the mid-Hudson Valley's most advanced healthcare services. This 243-bed facility cares for more than 10,000 inpatients annually while performing an additional 325,000 outpatient procedures each year.
