Summary:

Assumes responsibility for routine, preventive maintenance, emergency repairs and extra assigned tasks, such as security and is familiar with fire and disaster plans as directed by Director of Engineering and/or Engineering Supervisor on all machinery and mechanical and/or electrical equipment, such as air handlers, air conditioners, steam boilers, all types of pumps, electric motors, air compressors, vacuum pump, diesel engines and electrical distribution panels and controls and familiar with current pertinent codes and requirements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Requires high school or equivalent.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of five and up to seven years of experience to acquire skills and knowledge of the job.

Must be able to work with all types of conduit, read NEC and interpret as pertains to hospital.

Must be able to use all tools relevant to trade.

License:
