IT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Robbins Research International (RRI), a Tony Robbins company, is looking for a highly-skilled INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) DEVELOPMENT MANAGER to join our world-class team. This role is perfect for a high-level, individual contributor with deep experience as a technical leader.

Technical skillset is paramount in this role, as our next IT Development Manager will you will ensure our development team and partners stay deeply connected to goals by broadcasting customer needs, customer feedback, product roadmaps, and product KPIs.

CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership

• Employ product and project management skills to collaborate on product road-mapping, project planning, and deliverables
• Ability to see the big picture but also able to navigate the details.
• Getting direction from organization's executive leadership and planning & executing based on strategic objectives and priorities.
• Ability to assess priorities and provide responses in timely manner.
• Ability to communicate clearly; verbally and written in timely fashion.
• Ability to always provide executive level summary and status of projects.
• Leading by example by showing strong commitment, reliability and truthfulness.
• Strong sense of accountability for and ownership of assigned projects.
• Demonstrate cooperation with other units in the organization and represent IT team as a single point of contact.

Technical

• Salesforce development experience critical
• Analytical with ability to suggest alternative solutions with explanation of benefits and disadvantages of different options.
• Leading a team of highly technical individuals and be responsible for product deliverables, resource management, budget and timelines.
• Ability to clearly describe technical processes in simpler terms to other teams in summary format.
• Ability to monitor multiple complex technology projects with proper use of resources.
• Ability to assess risks and roadblocks; communicate those to the leadership.
• Awareness of technical trends and competition in the industry.
• Significant previous experience in project life cycle; preferably with past experiences as a developer, and technical lead and functional manager.
• Understanding of agile development, sprints and delivering software with high quality, reliability and scalability. Well-versed in the practices of DevOps, combining software engineering and IT operations. Experience and understanding of modern stacks.
• Strong technology affinity and experience, as well as attention to detail and the ability to design, execute and maintain strategic goals and metrics.
• Easily recognizes areas for internal improvement and develops plans for implementation.
• Identify gaps/risks early and establish mitigation plans (both technically & with regards to resources)
• Experience in working with Information Technology teams in integration projects; ability to work on dependencies such as operating systems, API libraries, SDKs and exchanging user identity information between systems.
• Experience and understanding of structured programming languages (e.g., C#/C++/C/Java), platforms (e.g., Heroku), web services (e.g., AWS), frameworks (e.g., React Native) and client (e.g., React) & server-side development (e.g., ).
• Experience in development of solutions in cloud computing platforms, networks, security and databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with software development tracking in collaborative environments (e.g., git, Azure DevOps Server and Asana)

QA and Documentation

• Performs quality assurance on large projects, including areas of estimations, design, architecture, and code reviews.
• Ensures creation of technical documentation to support development of the solution.
• Coordinates with infrastructure, external vendors, and other parties to ensure holistic solutions to meet business requirements.
• Refines application development processes (standardization/consistency, configuration management, release management, documentation)
• Develops and maintains technical knowledge and documentation for each of the business applications.
• Evaluates on premise applications for cloud migration feasibility. Leads cloud migration projects for applications appropriate for the cloud.

Salesforce

• 3-4 years of Salesforce Development Experience
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer (preferred)
• Experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components
• Salesforce Community Experience
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Experience with JIRA or DevOpsDemonstrates some understanding of Apex, VisualForce, HTML, JavaScript
• Experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which should include: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, Apex data loader, and declarative platform tools (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.)

Required

• Bachelor; Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering
• 13+ years' experience in systems analysis and application program development; 5+ years managing teams.
• Experience implementing enterprise solutions.
• Experience with Snowflake, and Tableau.
• Experience running and coordinating with IT team to maintain secure applications
