    Description

    Century Group is partnering with a company who is looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to perform a variety of accounting tasks. This position will be located in Van Nuys, CA. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $85,000 to $120,000 per year.

    Job Description:

    • Fulfills accounting for 7 domestic and international subsidiary entities
    • Coordinates full month end procedure, including preparation of balance sheets, income statements and trial balances
    • Ensures accuracy of revenue and expense accounts
    • Work directly with internal and external auditors
    • Analyzes commissions and royalties to ensure they are recorded appropriately on monthly and quarterly basis
    • Performs general accounts analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, accruals, prepaid expenses
    • Oversees all accounting functions related to daily collection and disbursements, including setting credit limits for new and current customers, and supervision of collections staff
    Requirements:
    • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
    • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
    • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
    Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, and a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
