    Job Title: Reentry Services Coordinator at Bay State Community Services



    Job Type: Full-time

    Description:

    As a Reentry Services Coordinator at Bay State Community Services, you will be an essential part of the team at the Community Justice Support Centers (CJSC). Your role involves conducting in-reach to Massachusetts Correctional Institutions and County House of Corrections to inform, enroll, and manage clients in services offered at the CJSC through the Ralph Gants Reentry Services Program (RGRSP). These services include education, career counseling, treatment, housing support, and community-based referrals.



    What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference:
    • Develop rapport with individuals returning to the community after incarceration for a seamless transition.
    • Greet and welcome individuals returning from prison at the CJSC.
    • Create and manage case files for RGRSP clients.
    • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to engage clients in appropriate services.
    • Maintain regular contact with clients for 18 months.
    • Provide information on mentoring training and facilitate mentoring connections.

    Requirements:
    • Lived-Experience with education or Associate's Degree
    • At least two years of experience with justice-involved population
    • Strong Computer Skills
    • Valid MA driver's license and insurance
    • Acceptable CORI and SORI background check
