    Job DescriptionRole

    As a Commercial Maintenance Technician (also known as Building Maintenance Specialist, Facility Maintenance Technician), you'll perform daily maintenance tasks, including light bulb changes, plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical repairs. You'll also conduct preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, maintain operating logs, and prepare equipment for inspection. Additionally, you'll maintain mechanical equipment and systems in accordance with blueprints, diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, and perform snow removal and ground maintenance duties.

    Qualifications
    • High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of a service trade curriculum at a recognized technical school is desirable.
    • In-depth knowledge of many building systems and experience with hand tools.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with various levels of an organization, tenants, and subcontractors.
