Job Description

Job Summary: We are in need of a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The perfect candidate will ensure that machinery and mechanical equipment are operating as they should.

Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical system problems
- Weld, fabricate, and upkeep equipment when necessary
- Interpret and understand schematics and logic controllers
- Offer exceptional customer service to internal teams
- Lead and oversee maintenance staff as required

Qualifications:
- Mechanical expertise and experience in maintaining industrial machinery
- Electrical skills for diagnosing and repairing electrical issues
- Proficient in welding, fabrication, and working with various tools
- Ability to read schematics and logic controllers
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise maintenance tasks effectively
- Customer service-oriented mindset to handle internal maintenance requests

Key Areas of Responsibility

Performing light repair and maintenance of building equipment including doors, floors, walls, ceilings, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, roofs, irrigation, locks and keys, etc.
Conducting inspections, preventive maintenance, or operating building systems
Maintaining equipment logs, inspecting building mechanical and life safety equipment, and completing assigned work orders
Communicating effectively with tenants, customers, and visitors
Adhering to building operation codes, regulations, and safety practices
Maintaining a professional appearance and demonstrating ethical conduct at all times
Providing team support and coverage as needed

Physical Demand Requirements

Ability to climb stairs and ladders, and work standing for an extended period
Access remote work areas like crawl spaces and roofs
Utilize full manual dexterity and work in various conditions
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work in hazardous environments, and in different weather conditions

Other Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license with a good record
Availability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends when needed
