    Are you looking to kickstart your career as a Commercial Maintenance Technician? Job Impulse has an exciting opportunity with a client based in Farmington Hills, MI. Get ready to travel to various commercial buildings across the area and showcase your maintenance skills!

    Responsibilities:

    • Complete daily work orders, from changing light bulbs to handling plumbing, carpentry, and light electrical repairs.
    • Execute preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment, contributing to the development of maintenance procedures.
    • Keep detailed operating logs, identifying and addressing faults and deficiencies promptly.
    • Conduct equipment inspections and ensure everything is in optimal condition.
    • Maintain mechanical and low voltage electrical systems following blueprints and manufacturer's specifications.
    • Handle snow removal and maintain grounds, including common areas.
    • Perform any other general maintenance duties as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • Possess extensive knowledge of building systems.
    • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
    • Quick learner with the ability to adapt through on-the-job training.
    • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills.
    • Available for emergency maintenance outside regular hours.
    • Capable of lifting objects up to 100 pounds and performing various physical tasks.
    • Proficient in basic PC-based business software and maintenance of service records.
    • Previous experience with hand tools is a must.
    • Customer service-oriented with a strong attention to detail and follow-through.
    • High School diploma or equivalent required, with a technical school service trade curriculum completion being a plus.

    Salary info:

    $20 - $30 / hr
