    Since the Carole Robertson Center for Learning's inception in 1976, it has committed itself to serve underresourced communities across Chicago.

    Through our name, we honor and remember Carole Robertson and the three young girls killed in the 1963 Birmingham Church bombing by the Ku Klux Klan.

    Today, the Carole Robertson Center for Learning is one of the largest early childhood and youth development organizations in Chicago, reaching nearly 2,500 children through our directly operated and partner sites.

    Our three flagship sites are located in North Lawndale, Little Village, and Albany Park.
