Job DescriptionCSI Recruiting is working to fill a Senior Electrical Engineer position to lead the electrical scope of projects for our client's Digital Energy Systems.
Our client, based in Denver, Colorado, will need the Senior Electrical Engineer to be responsible for driving project execution and ensuring the overall system meets expectations.
They will often function as Project Manager for projects that include significant electrical scope, defining the tasks required to complete a project.
The role will communicate expectations throughout the project team and coordinate efforts with the different groups within the company.RequirementsYou will use engineering principles and design software to help design, develop and maintain electrical control systems and or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.
You will operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.You will direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.
You will inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
You will develop budgets, estimate labor, material, and construction costs. Additionally, you will perform other duties assigned to you.A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Manage assigned projectsTechnical leadership for design and specification of electrical scopeDevelops, implements, and reviews project plans, proposals, and objectives.
Assigns responsibilities and builds schedules based on project specifications; recommends plan and schedule changes, as needed.
Designs, procures, and installs electrical equipment for the Company at field locations throughout the United States and internationally, as needed.
Responsible for electrical equipment, including transformers, high voltage wiring, and computing.Serves as contact for vendors and customers related to deployments.
Develops project budgets and adheres to respective budgets.
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE WITH THESE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in engineering required, Electrical Engineering strongly preferred7+ years of experience in project engineering and project management related to electrical substations, power generation, or power distribution is requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential for this role.
