    Key Responsibilities as a Specialty Program UnderwriterLeverage your analytical skills to assess and evaluate submissions for eligibility within our program guidelines.

    Develop and apply competitive rating/pricing strategies based on established guidelines for the specific niche market.

    Build strong and lasting relationships with brokers who place this type of insurance, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.

    Manage your assigned portfolio of accounts, focusing on underwriting profitability through effective risk selection and account management.
    Provide exceptional and responsive service to our broker partners, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
    Qualifications2-3 years of proven success in commercial P&C underwritingBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with brokers and other stakeholders within the P&C insurance market.
    Proactive and self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and professional development in the P&C insurance sector.
    Demonstrated commitment to pursuing continuing education (i.e. earned designations or working towards them) is a plus.
