Senior Tax Director
to spearhead their expansion into the Houston area.
With a client footprint already in the local market, our client is seeking to expand their presence from Central Texas into the central Houston area.
This firm is not just recognized but revered for its hands-on, employee-first approach, leading to significant growth, low turnover, and multiple accolades from both local and national publications.
What We Offer:
A competitive salary range of $135-185K plus a bonus plan that has averaged 10-15% over the last three years.

Your Role:
As a pivotal player in our strategic expansion, you'll:
Deliver exceptional client service, overseeing business and individual tax engagements with a keen focus on business returns (1120S, 1065) and associated individual 1040 returns.
Build strong, reliable relationships both with clients and within our team.
Manage risk and lead projects with a hands-on approach.
Contribute to hiring, training, and mentoring initiatives to cultivate a thriving professional community.
Collaborate closely with senior and executive leadership to drive the firm's strategic vision and growth in the Houston market.
What We're Looking For:
A Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting
At least seven (7) years of recent public accounting experience, with a deep understanding of complex tax issues, especially in partnership taxation.
Experience with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and complex partnerships and S-Corp businesses.
A proven track record of professional accomplishments and career growth.
Residency in or willingness to relocate to the Houston area.
