- The development of excellent plant identification skills;
- Availability to work long hours (up to 70 hours per week) during our busy spring shipping season from early March 3 to July 30;
- Maintaining a professional attitude at all times including a big-picture outlook and cooperating with other leaders/departments;
- Nursery maintenance and construction tasks during the off season;
- Drives preloaded orders to their destinations
- Unloads racks and helps customers unload plants
- Returns empty racks to nursery dock
- Fills out all company paperwork accurately
- Follows federal legal driving regulations including the use of ELD.
- Refuel and clean vehicles
- Record Cargo Deliveries
- A valid class A CDL and good driving record;
- 3 Month of CDL driving experience with no violations
- Non drinker/smoker preferred
- Energetic with good physical condition
- Good communication skills;
- Competent, efficient and well organized;
- Willingness to make overnight stays
- Ability to use ELD software and fill out forms
