Position:


We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student or doctoral candidate to join our ATLAS Laboratory (A-LAB) for future maritime technologies.

In a team of young and motivated colleagues, you will have the opportunity to advance your research and development topic with the support and close collaboration of our experts.


Responsibilities:

  • Selecting electrical and mechanical components to create a comprehensive concept for remote controlling a 360 camera using an AR/VR headset, in collaboration with other students in the A-LAB
  • Designing a test setup to demonstrate the remote control of an unmanned vehicle using common CAD programs
  • Contributing to the mechatronic analysis of the experimental setup and assisting with the implementation of communication interfaces
  • Supporting the specialist departments with your expertise in the design of maritime systems and test rigs

Profile:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Strong interest in handson work with a high practical relevance, and the ability to independently
