The purpose of the foundation is to "contribute through its work to preserving and disseminating knowledge about the unique crimes committed during the Nazi dictatorship in the consciousness of people.

It is also the foundation's task to present the serious human rights violations during the times of Soviet occupation and SED dictatorship and to spread knowledge about them." To support and coordinate the activities of its seven memorial sites at nine locations, the Foundation Memorial Sites Saxony-Anhalt maintains an office in the state capital of Magdeburg.

The office, with its various departments, is under the supervision of the foundation's administrative director. As part of a restructuring of the office, the position of Finance Officer (m/f/d) is being created. This position will include managing the budget/accounting and procurement departments.

In addition to providing professional guidance to the employees in these two areas, the position also includes acting as a substitute for the administrative director when needed.

The Foundation Memorial Sites Saxony-Anhalt is seeking to fill the full-time position of Finance Officer (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.

The position is permanent and classified in pay group 11 TV-L. APCT1_EN
