    About the Position:

    This IT Specialist (Security) position is assigned to the Program Executive Office, Command Control Communications-Tactical Network (PEO C3T), PMO I2S Responsibilities Serves as technical expert working with Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Stakeholders to enable the Army Zero Trust Architecture through planning, designing, requirements mapping and integration of hardware/software systems.

    Maintains knowledge of existing and new advancements in ICAM technology (e.g Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Identity Providers (IdPs), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Fast Identity Online (FIDO) and Client to Authenticator Protocols (CTAP).

    Leads a multi-disciplinary team of technical experts/engineers/scientists to plan, design, develop and test Army ICAM related projects. Assist Program Managers in aligning cybersecurity roadmaps and plans to Army ICAM requirements and delivery schedule. Documents and prepares factual and analytical reports WRT ICAM testing requirements.

    Monitor programs and acquisition documentation related to systems engineering for executability and compliance with established program decisions, ICAM Requirements, policies, cybersecurity, and Zero Trust Policies.

    Engages with product owners, cybersecurity staff and customer organizations concerning architecture, concepts, and developments of new or changed cybersecurity measures that pertain to ICAM.

    You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of specialized experience is defined as: 1) Analyzes new and existing security systems to verify they meet the security requirements; 2) Analyzes data and prepares recurring reports to ensure issues are resolved for security systems; and 3) Prepares and presents briefings for the organization.

    This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03)/GS-13.

    Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Direct deposit of pay is required. Relocation Incentive will not be authorized. Recruitment Incentive will not be authorized. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.

    This is a Career Program (CP) 34 Information Technology Management position. Multiple positions may be filled from this announcement. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.

    Permanent Change of Station (PCS) allowances will not be authorized, subject to the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations and an agency determination that a PCS move is not in the Government Interest.

    This is not a remote position.

    Applicants will be expected to report to the identified worksite a minimum of one day a week or more depending on work requirements and supervisory approval.

    This is a DoD Demonstration Project position.

    Under the Defense Authorization Act, personnel management demonstration programs are operating in numerous Army activities and various other organizations supported by Army civilian personnel centers.

    Under the streamlined personnel operations for demonstration projects, the familiar 15 General Schedule grade structure is replaced with broad pay bands that typically encompass a range of grades.

    For example, acquisition jobs in level NH-IV of broad banding encompass the traditional GS-14 through GS-15 grades. Other initiatives under the demonstration projects include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process, and expanded developmental opportunities.

    All selections under an announcement must be made within 3 months from the issuance date of the certificate referral list.
