Role Summary/Purpose


The H&W Delivery Operations Team Leader will have responsibility to lead a team providing program administration for GE Vernova US based benefits in the areas of life insurance, business traveler insurance, employee voluntary benefits and Affiliate business benefits, among others.

Provide strong supportive management of GE Vernova team members and build relationships with key stakeholders in GE Vernova across a multitude of areas.

The Team Lead will be expected to deliver high quality, cost efficiencies, and compliant services across operations. A strong focus on positive employee experiences, continous improvement initiatives, standardized operational practices and project management.


Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and inspiration to a team of professionals supporting accurate and timely delivery of H&W benefits; drive operational rigor, simplification, and process improvements
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with GE Vernova Total Rewards team to ensure clear alignment of business strategy and priorities in the spirit of oneteam mentality
  • Promote H&W related communication strategy across benefit platforms and tools (Worklife portal)
  • Lead project management intiatives internally and externally to ensure accurate, timely, delivery of benefits, promote standardization, fulfillment of business priorities
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators for H&W service quality to identify trends, process gaps and risk areas in order to drive new process improvement initiatives to ensure a seamless service experience for all customers
  • Drive operational performance excellence via purposeful people leadership, customer relationship management, and operational rigor driven through Lean practices
  • Be a champion for continuous improvement, standardization of work, process automation through alignment to VOC and data from key metric anaysis and overall business goals.
  • Develop and practice innovative problemsolving and resolution delivery for issues and concerns with processes, programs, and compliance risks.
  • Identify and mitigate risks for all deliverables: track risks, escalate issues & coordinate resolution, communicate efficiently and effectively to all stakeholders.
  • Foster "one team" environment with your team, provide continuous coaching to help them grow their impact and collaboration within the business.

Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related Business degree from an accredite university or college, (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in related area)
  • Significant work experience with demonstrated achievement and leadership in Benefit plans, and/or Operations/Serviceoriented environment
  • Minimum three years of demonstrated project management experience
  • Minimal travel may be required, as needed, to support team and customers within the region

Desired Characteristics:


  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience working with GE
  • Experience leading a team of professional employees
  • Operational experience in Benefits plan delivery for multiple plans with exceptional customer service focus including the ability to anticipate customer needs and provide a high level of responsiveness
  • Experience working with outsourced providers and creating meaningful performance measurements via scorecard/audit tools and processes.
  • Ability to make decisions independently, manage competing priorities in fastpaced, multitask and highly matrixed environment, and partner effectively with business leaders and stakeholders across the business
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and clearthinking skills; able to identify risks and trends, organize and analyze data
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing process improvement initiatives
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, Lean Management, or equivalent quality management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills ability to present data in a clear, concise, and articulate manner and targeted for the right audience
  • Proficiency in HR Systems (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
