    POSITION SUMMARY
    File clerks process and maintain legal title/contract documents in a secure filing system. They must maintain the integrity of the system on a daily basis. Resource person for the team.

    Document Management Center: Handles the duties of a File Clerk I, but is also responsible for repossession refiles, coordinating the delivery of release work daily, research, work reports, sending/receiving emails and providing training.
    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

    • Process work as assigned
    • Work within AS400 system to complete tasks
    • May require standing for long periods
    • Operate light machinery (Mail Room, DMC, and Fed Ex)
    • Notify supervisor of exception issues
    • Assist others as necessary

      BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
    • HS Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
    • 0-2 years experience
    • Some college (preferred)
    • Minimal supervision
    • Introductory knowledge of subject matter (preferred)

      MINIMUM JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
    • Mastery of the English language, both written and verbal
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must be a notary with required documentation and stamp (if applicable to function)
    • Strong work ethic
    • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Ability to train staff on various functions
    • Must have Excel spreadsheet and Word document skills
    • Ability to work reports
    • Must have research skills for locating/retrieving documents and Fed Ex shipments
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with people throughout the organization in a team environment
    • Willingness to maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image
    • Ability to perform under minimal supervision
    • Ability to meet expected production guidelines in both quality and quantity
