- Supervise processing and packaging employees to achieve department objectives.
- Inspect and test processing and packaging set-ups for proper operation.
- Maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards within the department.
- Administer the Plant Safety Program and uphold safety records.
- Train employees in processing and packaging operations.
- Ensure availability of supplies and ingredients for production schedules.
- Conduct employee training and problem-solving meetings.
- And other duties as assigned.
- Capable of coaching and developing employees.
- Address performance issues directly and provide motivating feedback.
- Demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in data analysis and Microsoft Office tools.
- Understanding of recipe development and willingness to travel for meetings and training.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or Engineering, though equivalent experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing with supervisory experience preferred.
