Lucas Tree Experts, a leading company in the tree care industry, is seeking a Utility Line Clearance Supervisor to join our Management Team in Milbridge, ME. Strong supervisory background is a must.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of industry experience or prior supervisory experience in a similar role, and must be comfortable with all aspects of supervision and management including:

• Employee supervision
• Safety & performance management
• Staffing (recruiting, interviewing, orienting, and training new hires)
• Developing growth opportunities and monitoring job success
• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees to achieve team goals
• Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures
• Scheduling work, assigning crews, and monitoring work progress
• Implementing productivity standards to meet operational goals
• Resolving operational issues and implementing new procedures
• Providing quality service by enforcing high standards
• Contributing to overall team success

This is a year-round, full-time, outdoor opportunity. Duties include supervising personnel in various company operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and working with community members and homeowners to guarantee proper completion of work.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years in the tree industry or prior supervisory experience
• Strong management, organizational, and people skills
• Must be 18 years of age with a HS Diploma/GED/or equivalent
• Current and valid driver's license
• Physically able to perform job requirements
• Able to travel as needed
• Familiarity with technology and basic computer skills
• Create estimates for bidding on new jobs
• Obtain and maintain necessary licenses & certifications
• Successful completion of screenings and checks
