Job description

Seeking an experienced Bartender with the ability to create classic, artisan, and innovative cocktails while complying with all food and beverage regulations. An enthusiastic mixologist/bartender to provide an excellent guest experience to cigar lounge patrons. Bar/lounge associate will also be responsible for minimal food preparation. Must be attentive, cleanly, have attention to detail, eager to learn, enthusiastic, and punctual. Cigar knowledge preferred, although not required.

Responsibilities:

Knowledge and execution of mixology for a traditional and creative cocktail
Knowledge of craft beer and wine.
Ability to perform minimal food prep, wash dishes, etc.

Requirements:

RAMP - server/seller certification
3+ years' experience in a similar role or equivalent.
Elaborate knowledge of wine, craft beer, spirits
Cigar knowledge preferred but not required
Resume and proven working experience as a bartender with business references
Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Ability to lift 50lbs or above
Ability to be on your feet for up to 12 hours
Ability to work nights and weekends
Must have dependable transportation
Must be able to pass a local and federal background check (including credit check)

Job Duties:

Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing them efficiently, and building a rapport with clientele
Handle card and cash transactions, ensuring that all funds in the cash drawer are accounted for by the end of the shift
Monitor patron intoxication levels and respond appropriately
Identify belligerent customers, and work with management when needed to maintain a safe environment
Clean the bar and the surrounding area of spills and other messes as needed
Other duties as requested
