    About:

    A mid-market Top 100 AmLaw ranked firm looking to onboard a qualified Real Estate associate for their Real Estate & Land Use practice group in one of their Texas offices. They have offices in Austin, Dallas, and Houston. This position also offers a hybrid remote work option.

    About the practice:

    This firm's Real Estate group handles matters across the United States and abroad, and represents real estate investors, developers and financial institutions, as well Fortune 100 corporations and other businesses for which real estate is a major concern. In particular, they represent tenants, landlords, lenders, syndicators, brokers, entrepreneurs, buyers, sellers, and individual and institutional investors on all sides of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, financing, planning, zoning, construction, leasing and sale of real estate.

    Qualifications:

    • 3 - 5 years of law firm Real Estate & Land Use experience, preferably in a sophisticated national law firm environment
    • Expertise in real estate finance, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, and other sophisticated commercial real estate transactions (both single asset and multi-asset)
    • Experienced in drafting, communication, and have a thorough understanding of title, survey, and other commercial real estate due diligence
    • Experience on the real estate aspects of renewable and conventional energy project acquisition and development is nice to have
    • Strong academic record, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with client, business, and legal teams
    • Active member of Texas bar
