    Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently looking for a ME Engineer to join the C Shift team at our facility in New Hudson, MI.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with process standards at the plant level
    • Implement gluing and PU processes following PEP process procedure
    • Participate in task forces at the regional level
    • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement standard PU cell layouts
    • Analyze customer forecast trends and optimize line capacity
    • Maintain rework and scrap levels within defined limits
    • Develop work instructions, routings, and standard time estimates
    • Support equipment purchasing processes and prepare investment feasibility analysis
    • Compile Lessons Learned and share insights with the region
    • Lead daily action meetings for the ME team and participate in Plant Daily Action
    • Contribute to regional standardization efforts
    • Participate in various project meetings and represent the plant/ME
    • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
    • 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role within automotive/manufacturing
    • Solid grasp of lean management and project management principles
    • Strong leadership and management abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Willingness to work in C Shift with the specified schedule
    • Readiness to work extended hours when needed
