    Description

    Job Description

    This role will provide support for the production processes of the MTR membrane element manufacturing organization. You will be involved in developing, implementing, and enhancing the manufacturing equipment and processes used for making membranes and modules. This includes analyzing projects, generating solutions, and choosing the best course of action. Your responsibilities will also include creating detailed designs and cost proposals, overseeing fabrication processes, integrating solutions into production equipment, conducting testing, and providing training for manufacturing operators. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will take charge of projects related to roll-to-roll web handling and assembly-type production equipment, focusing on electromechanical functions, control circuit design, PLC programming, and instrumentation.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with equipment operators to identify issues and improvement opportunities
    • Design and implement solutions following Change Management protocols
    • Create electrical drawings and process diagrams
    • Utilize simulation (FEA) for design evaluation
    • Develop manufacturing documentation and provide operator training
    • Prepare project summaries and presentations
    • Ensure compliance with engineering standards
    • Support R&D efforts for process and product development
    • Work with regulatory bodies to meet safety and environmental standards

    Experience

    Qualified candidates should have a BS in Engineering and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience. The role involves supervising other engineers, training employees, and demonstrating knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing principles. Proficiency in a variety of manufacturing technologies and 3D Modeling is essential.

    Salary Range

    The salary for this position will be based on education level, relevant experience, and internal benchmarks. We anticipate a salary range between $101,700 and $155,000.
