    Description
    We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This position will be crucial in enhancing the library's visibility and engagement within the community.

    The successful candidate will coordinate our marketing and communication strategies, create compelling marketing materials, and lead our social media efforts to promote library services and events.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop and implement marketing and communication strategies to promote library programs and services effectively. Design and produce marketing materials such as newsletters, flyers, posters, and brochures to support library events and initiatives.

    Determine quantity and distribution of all promotional materials, optimizing their effectiveness Lead and manage the library's social media presence, creating engaging content and campaigns that foster community interaction and increase followers.

    Contribute to the maintenance and content updates of the library's website, ensuring information is current and appealing. Maintain and ensure brand standards in public communications. Coordinate with different departments to gather information and promote library services and special events. Provide training to staff on systems and procedures under the purview of Marketing & Digital Communications. Analyze marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies. Participate in community outreach activities to enhance the library's community presence and engagement. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field is preferred. Strong proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Publisher, etc.) and content management systems. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for community service and a strong belief in the value of public libraries. Written and spoken fluency in Spanish is a plus.


    Physical Requirements:

    Must be able to move from place to place within the location; lift, push/pull, hold/carry items weighing up to (25) pounds and occasionally up to (35) pounds, such as files, books, stacks of paper, and other materials.

    Ability to sit for long periods of time and to maintain focus on projects such as computer screens or detailed paperwork.
