    Description
    Responsible for increasing and strengthening our senior customer base through marketing/recruiting and other resources.

    This process will be done by identifying and soliciting new senior venues, which will bring additional participants to the Commodity Supplemental Food Program, (CSFP).


    Major Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Identifies potential senior buildings/agencies and other senior related activity centers for potential program agencies.
    • Setting up meetings with community representatives to discuss CSFP and its effectiveness in combating senior food insecurity.
    • Building and managing a pipeline of outreach in the senior community bringing awareness of the program, who and where it serves.
    • Working with the Food Program Agency Coordinator in arranging dates for startup delivery of food boxes to new senior agencies.
    • Being the liaison for new senior agencies as they are added.
    • Responsible for new and annual training to volunteers who will be distributing food boxes at agencies.
    • Performs other duties as needed.
    Requirements

    • Associate Degree or two years college experience preferred.
    • Demonstrated work minimum two (2) years in marketing, business recruiting or related field preferred.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills in working effectively with fellow colleagues.
    • Strong commitment to civil and human rights.
    • Excellent driving record.
