The IHK FOSA (Foreign Skills Approval) is the nationwide competence center of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce for the examination and recognition of foreign professional qualifications according to the BQFG.

It accepts applications for recognition and assesses to what extent foreign qualifications can be considered equivalent to corresponding German qualifications.

To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Scientific Employee on a two-year contract.


The main tasks include:

  • Conducting recognition procedures for IHK professions
  • Reviewing application documents for completeness and recognition eligibility
  • Determining the reference profession
  • Evaluating foreign educational qualifications
  • Preparing equivalence certificates
  • Participation in knowledge management
  • Networking with assigned IHKs, relevant institutions of assigned countries, and advisory centers

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Knowledge of the country and education system in Vietnam
  • Knowledge of vocational education in Germany
  • Basic knowledge of IHK professions
  • Fluent in German
  • Excellent Vietnamese language skills, additional foreign language skills desirable
  • International experience (preferably in Vietnam)
  • Good computer skills (especially MS Office)
  • Teamwork, attention to detail, reliability
